Description

Customers buy what they see first. Product Stock Sorting sorts every product listing of your shop by stock: the products in stock come first, then the out-of-stock products that can still be ordered, then those that cannot, and the products that cannot be ordered at all at the end.

You decide the order: the products are split into six groups (can be ordered or not, in stock or not, ordering without stock allowed or not) and you drag the groups into the order you want. It works on PrestaShop's own listings: category pages, search results, brand and supplier pages, new products, prices drop and best sellers. Within each group the sort order the customer picked still applies, so sorting by price or name keeps working. Out-of-stock products and unavailable products no longer push your sellable products to the next page.

Switch it on per listing and choose the order per shop or shop group in a multistore installation. The configuration page shows whether the faceted search module of your shop supports it.

The module works inside PrestaShop's faceted search module (ps_facetedsearch) through its own hook: no overrides, no changes to the core, your theme or other modules, and no extra queries on pages it does not order.

Features

  • Sort products by stock: products in stock first, so what customers can buy right away tops every product listing
  • Out-of-stock products that can be ordered without stock come before those that cannot
  • Unavailable products last, or wherever you want them
  • Drag the six product groups into your own order
  • The sort order the customer picked (price, name, newest) still applies within each group
  • Works on category pages, search results, brand and supplier pages, new products, prices drop and best sellers
  • Switch it on or off per listing type
  • Different settings per shop or shop group (multistore)
  • Checks the faceted search module (ps_facetedsearch) and shows whether it is supported
  • No overrides: works through the hook of ps_facetedsearch, nothing in the core or your theme is changed
