Price Drop Alerts

Many visitors leave a product because the price is just a bit too high for them today. Price Drop Alerts brings them back at the right moment: they ask for a price alert on the product page, and as soon as the price drops they get an email with the new price and a link to the product.

The price alert form is a small, clean pop-up: the email address (filled in for customers who are logged in), optionally the choice between the selected variant and the whole product, and between any lower price, a lower regular price or a discount. Every alert starts with a double opt-in, so you only email people who really asked for it, and it ends with the price drop email, so nobody gets the same alert twice.

Price drops are found the moment a price changes (a product, a combination, a specific price or a catalog price rule, also scheduled sales when they start) and queued for an hourly cron job. The responsive email shows the product picture, the old and the new price, the saving in money and percent and the kind of drop, in the colours, language and currency of the shop.

In the back office you manage the alerts of each product in a Price drop tab, and see all alerts in one list where you edit them, switch Confirmed and Email waiting with one click, or change many at once with bulk actions. The module is fully multistore, GDPR-ready, protected against misuse and translated into 33 languages.
